Is it free?
The app is free, and settling up through Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or Apple Cash costs nothing. Paying by card with Apple Pay or Google Pay carries a processing fee, and Slide shows it before you pay.
How do I actually pay?
Venmo and Cash App open with the amount and handle already filled in, so you just hit send. For Zelle, Slide copies your friend's handle so you can send it from your bank app, and Apple Cash goes through Messages. On receipt-backed requests of $3 or more you can also pay by Apple Pay or Google Pay without leaving Slide.
What if my friend isn't on Slide?
Send them a link from your phone's share sheet. They open it in a browser, pick what they had, and see exactly what they owe. No signup needed to see it.
How does Slide nudge slow payers?
Tap Follow Up and Slide sends the reminder for you, once a day per request. Slide also nudges you to confirm when someone marks a request as paid, so nothing sits half-settled.
